Someone Else's Words Wednesday: Because the heart is an anxious traveler

Next week, I will fly across the country to see a few of my favorite people. I can't wait to get there. But first, there are posts and work projects and t-ball games and taxes (thank God for the miracle of extensions) to get through, so there is this to keep me centered, smiling and waiting as patiently as I can.

Once the realization is accepted that even

between the closest human beings

infinite distances continue,

living side by side can grow,
